This issue has spiraled out of control. It's a total catastrophe. We've tried just about everything to fix it, but nothing seems to be effective. At this point, it feels like we're toast. Frankly, I don't know what else to do. This is a train wreck of epic proportions.

But then, you remember that it's not really actually that amusing. It's just plain bad. And the laughter you were experiencing morphs into a wistful, melancholic sound.

Or were we just simply unfortunate enough to witness this spectacle unfold?

Awful Day Ever
It all started with a terrible case of morning hair. I couldn't figure it to look right. As I was running out the door, I trippedon and with a thud all over myself. To make matters worse, I was totally late for a very important appointment.

It all started out horribly with a simple mishap/incident/screw-up. But then things went from bad to absolutely terrible. A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to scream into a pillow.
